Without volunteers the Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Heritage would not exist. It is the creation of all the volunteers who work at the museum, and also all the people who have donated the wonderful artifacts.
Farmtown Park is always looking for volunteers to help with all sorts of jobs from painting, plumbing, wood working, cleaning, cataloguing items, picking and hulling strawberries to welcoming visitors and showing them round. Volunteering isn’t all about work. The volunteers have fun and it’s a good way to meet people and to contribute to your community. The museum needs skilled craftsmen for the many construction projects.
The museum volunteers were awarded the June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism in Ontario. If you are interested in helping, please contact Margaret Grotek at (613) 395-0015 or email@example.com.
