Fibre Fest
Discover. Enjoy. Learn.
Fibre artists from all over the region will be coming to Farmtown Park on July 29 to meet and demonstrate their skills. Open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
People are invited to come and share their skills, especially with younger people and learn how to knit socks, felt with exotic fibres and make bobbin lace amongst other skills. There will be weavers, quilters, knitters, spinners, rug hookers and many other artisans displaying and demonstrating their craft, as well as, exchanging ideas and knowledge.
It is all part of Growing Our Heritage at Farmtown Park, and we look forward to an exciting, and rewarding day.
Fibre Fest at Farmtown Park on Sunday, July 29 will have people in stitches. Nearly 30 fibre artists from the four counties region will be demonstrating their work in Heritage Village. We have many examples of fibre arts at Farmtown Park. [slideshow id=2] so come and be amazed.
