2018 is going to be a great year! Lots of events and things to do.

Unfortunately, we will not be holding a Strawberry Social this year.

May 19 is Opening Day, hope to see you then. Followed by:

May 26 – Pancake Breakfast. Start the day of Front Porch Shenanagans off right with a tour of the museum followed by pancakes and sausages in beautiful Heritage Village! 7:30 am – 11 am. By donation.

May 30, 31 – Agribition – We host approximately 400 grade 4 students and provide them with the opportunity to learn about agriculture and where their food comes from. Both the children and our volunteers have a wonderful time!

Sunday, June 10 – Music in the Courtyard in cooperation with Front Porch Shenanigans. Every second Sunday this summer there will be live music in the courtyard. A great way to spend an afternoon! This month’s musician is the wonderful Casey Garlick.

Sunday, July 8 – Music in Heritage Village – This month’s featured performer is the clever and talented Randy Stewart – Sad Songs & Funny Songs – I DON’T PLAY LOVE SONGS! Country, folk, jazz standards, originals and unlikely covers. From 1 – 2, admission by donation.

Sunday, August 12 – Music in Heritage Village – This month’s performers are Norma Jeanne & Greg. In addition to the music this Sunday, Farmtown Park is also the venue for Art in the Park!! A day of Artsy Fun! Arts and crafts from local artists, 10 am – 4 pm. Admission is by donation. If you are an artist interested in participating, please contact Hazel: or 613-403-2819

Saturday, August 25 – 10th Anniversary World’s Greatest Tractor Parade – 1:00 pm – 3 pm – Its been ten years since the farming community came together in the Little Village with a Big Heart to set a Guinness World Record for the most farming tractors in a parade. On August 25 at 1 pm, a tenth anniversary of the World’s Greatest Tractor Parade will again roll through Stirling’s streets. Farmers and tractor enthusiasts alike will be parading their farm tractors: old, new and antiques too from the Train Station down North Street and then up West Front Street to Farmtown Park for an afternoon to remember! Wednesday, September 5 – 6:30 – 9 pm – A Late Summer Night’s Dream – Ladies Night Fashion Show Fundraiser for Farmtown Park and Stirling Lions Club. Show starts at 7:00 pm. Silent auction, 50/50, hors d’ouevres and cash bar. Fashions brought to you courtesy of Julia’s Womens Wear and Vivacious Clothing and Day Spa. Tickets only $15! Available at Vivacious, Julia’s, Pro One Stop and Farmtown Park. Attendees receive 15% discount for each store.

Sunday, September 9 – 10 am -4 pm – Old Fashioned Corn Roast complete with old style games for the kids, music in Heritage Village by the one and only Dave Bush. Corn will be served from 11:30 am until 2 pm. Admission by donation.

Sunday, September 16 is Quinte Agricultural Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Christmas in Heritage Village: This Year’s theme is “The Magic of Christmas”.  Thursday, November 15, 6 pm – 9 pm, Friday, November 16, 10 am – 9 pm, Saturday, November 17, 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday, November 18, 10 am – 3 pm.
