Events 2019

2019 is going to be a great year! Lots of events and things to do.

May 18 is Opening Day, hope to see you then. Followed by:

May 25 – Pancake Breakfast. Start the day of Front Porch Shenanagans off right with a tour of the museum followed by pancakes and sausages in beautiful Heritage Village! 7:30 am – 11 am. By donation.

May 28 – 30- Agribition – We host approximately 400 grade 4 students and provide them with the opportunity to learn about agriculture and where their food comes from. Both the children and our volunteers have a wonderful time!

Tuesday June 4 – Early Summer Night’s Fashion Show and Fundraiser. Farmtown Park and the Stirling Lion’s Club join forces to bring you a fantastic evening of fashion, with appetizers served by our wonderful gentlemen and a cash bar. Tickets available soon.

Sunday, June 9 – Music in Heritage Village in cooperation with Front Porch Shenanigans. Every second Sunday this summer there will be live music in Heritage Village from 1 pm – 2 pm. A great way to spend an afternoon!

Saturday, June 22- Kegs, Corks & Curds! Try and buy some of the best curds, cheese, craft beer, cider and wine in the area. Blacksmith demos, curd making demo, fantastic local music. Good eats! No pets please. Admission $10, open from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sunday, July 14 – Music in Heritage Village. From 1 – 2 pm, admission by donation.

Wednesday, July 17 (rain date July 24) – Overalls and Whitewalls, antique tractors and classic cars! Live broadcast by Freddy Vette. 5 pm – 8 pm

Sunday, August 11 – Music in Heritage Village –  In addition to the music,  Farmtown Park is also the venue for Art in the Park!! A day of Artsy Fun! Arts and crafts from local artists, 10 am – 4 pm. Sunday, September 8 – 10 am -4 pm – Old Fashioned Corn Roast complete with old style games for the kids, music in Heritage Village.  Corn will be served from 11:30 am until 2 pm. Admission by donation.

Sunday, September 15 is Quinte Agricultural Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Christmas in Heritage Village: This Year’s theme is “An Old Fashioned Christmas”.  Thursday, November 14, 6 pm – 9 pm, Friday, November 15, 10 am – 9 pm, Saturday, November 16, 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday, November 17, 10 am – 3 pm. Trees, wreaths, swags, and toys available to be won by raffle. Call Farmtown Park at (613)-395-0015 for more information. Admission $5, children under 12 admitted at no charge.
